Description:

Size: 8-9mm. Weird looking jumping spider. Brown in color with reddish brown chelicerae.

Habitat:

Tropical forest area.

Notes:

Not sure if its a Labiata or Fimbriata. The white moustache of Labiata is missing here.

Thanks for the appreciation! I actually got amazed looking at it for the first time. It was a lucky spotting for me. It sat on a wall steady and looked like anything but a spider. I could hardly figure out the front legs and thought it might be an insect. Only after climbing the wall I could take a closer look and by spotting those big anterior median eyes I was sure that it was a jumper.. :-)
Woah that IS a weird looking jumping spider! Looks like some kind of alien war craft. Those big front eyes are amazing, especially in the last photo. SO cool!
