Field Notes

Description:

Light green chrysalis that was found in the same leaf fold where the caterpillar was hiding during the day.

Habitat:

Rambutan or mamon chino (Nephelium lappaceum) tree.

Notes:

I collected this still attached to a piece of branch and put it in a ventilated container in order see the adult butterfly to find out what species it belonged to. The adult can be seen here, http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/711176010
