Description:

'An interesting characterisitic of this butterfly is that when disturbed or alarmed, it flies rapidly and zips to the underside of a nearby leaf where it settles with its wings closed. The species is the only representative of its genus in Malaysia and Singapore.'

I spotted this in Bukit Timah nature reserve.

That's really cool Daniele! The ID looks right to me, though my specimen isn't nearly as colourful as some in the link you provided. Doesn't do justice to the common name.
Hi Dan! If my ID is correct, this would be the first for this species on Project Noah. Please verify! While apparenty seasonally common in Singapore, this species is the only representative of its genus in Malaysia and Singapore.
