Description:

A solid dull copper colored cottonmouth. I have seen a lot of these snakes but never one like this... sneaky! Spotted on the Outerbanks of North Carolina.

Habitat:

Cottonmouths prefer wetlands but are also found on land in vegetation and under logs and branches.
