Description:
The Penitent Underwing is a moth of the Noctuidae family. The species can be found in the Eastern part of the United States.
The wingspan is 68-84 mm. The moth flies from July to November depending on the location.
The larvae feed on Ash, Butternut, Hickory, Pecan, Persimmon, and Walnut trees.
