thank you noe and pili for the identification :) there has been cases of this bug entering ears of some people (don't know about the authenticity of the info) it does love nooks and crevices........
Earwigs are among the few non-social insect species that show maternal care, very interesting, take a look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earwig
