Trash Line Spider

This Trash Line Spider was part of a large colony of females, all about knee high from the ground. This is the same species as the previous spotting. The degree of camouflage is astounding. In the 3rd picture, the spider has also wrapped herself in silk to increase her stability and camouflage. In the second picture you can see how the Trash Line ends at the middle of the orb web, so that she can actually sit in the center of her web, always head down in this species. Sometimes however, the Trash Line is longer or bifurcated and she will sit in the middle of her Trash Line. The last picture shows how the spider web looks from a distance.
