Field Notes

Description:

Black in colour and approximately 10cm in length.

Notes:

I have never given these guys much attention in the past, but this website has made me look more closely at every living thing I pass. I had never noticed the pneumostome (or breathing pore) on the right-hand side before. It was also interesting to watch it contract into a hemispherical shape in defence as I got closer to it - must be camera shy.
