There is an oak tree in a pasture field behind my house that the wasps, flies and more than one species of butterflies feed at. The cracks in the bark at the base of the tree must have some sort of sap of collection of water that they all feed on. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7087666 this spotting is from the same spot.
Oh, there must be a story to this series of pictures. Beautiful butterfly!
