vine twining around a willow, leaves in the second photo, flowers in short thick clusters in leaf axils

Habitat:

temperate forest

Notes:

I spotted this vine growing up a small willow tree along side a trail in Fireman's Park. The brighter pics are with the flash.

I'm not sure if they're edible but yeah, I can try to go back and get some of the nuts later.
Are they edible? Can you show us the nut out of the shell eventually?

Your flower color seems to be a little richer but yes, I think they are the same.
