Field Notes

Notes:

Can anyone help me ID this tree from the blossoms? My neighbors told me it was a cherry tree, but it doesn't look like the cherry trees that I'm accustomed to seeing. The berries are much smaller and black or a dark bluish-purple, also. I'm not sure if it would help to know this, but the Eastern Tent Caterpillars are building tents in this tree which is another reason why I thought maybe it could be some sort of cherry tree.

Species ID Suggestions

I'm not sure if they'll help much, but I cropped in closer on a couple of those. Maybe, I'll try standing in the bed of my boyfriend's truck tomorrow to get better ones, lol.
