Field Notes

Description:

Sparrow with very light marking. My initial thought is a song sparrow, but the markings are much light and don't seem to match. It's song is somewhat similar, though it was different enough that it leads me to think it's something else.

Habitat:

Tree in open grassland

That's seems like a better guess, but the song didn't sound like a savannah. It is very possible that since I didn't get a good visual of it actually singing that I was hearing something else
I get savannah sparrow feel from this guy
