Field Notes

Description:

A rather small dragonfly. Mature male has powdery blue abdomen, female and immature male are yellow-brown with black lines on abdomen. Wings of both sexes clear at the base.

Habitat:

Favours stagnant stream margins, marshy pools, pongs and lakes.
