Description:
So small that he can still stand on the lilypads!
Habitat:
Widespread in freshwater wetlands. Spotted in the tropical south.
Notes:
Hopefully, the Common Gallinule is protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act as the Common Moorhen is at least until the split can be fully reviewed for its implications to the treaty.
