Description:

Cactus. Flat, rounded sections. Long, single spines. Yellow glochids near top of segments.

Habitat:

Desert regions of US and Mexico. This one found in Canyonlands NP.

Notes:

Part of the Opunita family but having a hard time identifying the species.
