Description:

This female is noticeably smaller than the #1, just posted. She also has no tan patch under her eye, but the other one does. This bird was trying to get to the feeder the larger/older female was guarding by dive-bombing. The 3rd humming bird just got chased into the big trees and woods so the feeder was unattended. She had gotten a sip of sugar-water and was perched on some Canna Lily buds, watching for the big female to return from chasing #3. As soon as the big female #1 returned with a fly-by, this one, #2 took off in the other direction.
