Field Notes

Description:

about 8mm, light bluish body, white and brown markings

Habitat:

temperate forest

Notes:

I've been seeing a lot of different planthoppers/leafhoppers this season. This was the first time I saw this particular one. Spotted at Fireman's park. Very difficult to photograph. I had to use the flash and after these 2 photos it flew away.

Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

They say some of the Florida Leaf-hoppers are spectacular. I would settle for drab or colored. I obviously don't know where to look.
