Field Notes

Description:

Found growing at an elevation of 5,000 feet, usually needs a host plant to survive. It needs little water to survive, as there's little of it in a desert. Definitely hard to identify to species!! What's throwing me off is that it has a green stem while most species have a purple one, and I can't find the right one (perhaps it's green when young?).
