Yes, me too. I think they are deeper than on the European species.
Yeah it is a beauty! What I liked most when I saw it first was the crevices on the petals, very distinctive.
Thanks all....I really was taken by this flower and had never seen it before this spotting. I noticed that there were several spottings of a similar species from Europe.
