Field Notes

Description:

A large flycatcher with a long forked tail and heavy bill. The head is grey, whitish throat, and brown upperparts with a green cast on the back. The belly and underparts are bright yellow.

Habitat:

Spotted on a perch overlooking a wetland on South Padre Island.
