Field Notes

Description:

'Graphium species are generally more robust than their relatives in Papilio, and have a stronger and more purposeful flight. Graphium sarpedon in particular is noted for its agility and speed in flight.'

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

I spotted this just as I was leaving Bukit Timah nature reserve. It only landed for a short time on a tree just above my head. Was really happy to spot this, the Graphium species are one some of my favourites.
