Field Notes

Notes:

This river otter had been hit by a car. One of the doctors I work with brought it in so we could see how badly it was injured. The photos were taken after we sedated it, hence the anesthesia mask. After an exam and a few xrays, we determined that it was not seriously injured, and in a matter of a week, it was released back into the wild. :)
