Description:

It is a common damselfly in southern Europe. Usually close to streams and rivers.
Male

Habitat:

This subspecies extends through the coasts of the Atlantic in north-west Spain.
The picture was taken at a little brook close to the beach of Penarronda, close to Tapies, Asturias in north Spain

Notes:
