Field Notes

Description:

ca. 80 cm high, beside a river, the leefs are like from the family of boraginacea, the fruits are hard and scratchy (later they will become brown)

Habitat:

beside the water (river Saale)

Notes:

I don´t know this plant, never seen before here in Saxonia,Germany. That´s why I need you help. May be this plant is a new imigrant to this region? Perhaps it comes from Australia or South-America. I would be so happy to hear from somebody who know the plant.
