Kodaikanal ("Gift of Forest") is a hill city in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Its blessed with a variety of flora and fauna The temperatures are cool throughout the year.Modern Kodaikanal was established by American Christian missionaries and British bureaucrats in 1845. It is one of the major tourist attraction cities in India,One sensation of Kodaikanal is the Kurinji Plants which bear flowers called Kurinji flowers ( Strobilanthus) . They flower only once in 12 Years Bryant park is a Botanical garden which has a wide variety of flowers and hybrids,This one is spotted there..
