Description:

Saw a bunch of these frogs in a National Park in Washington, DC in May of 2011. I think they are bullfrogs, but am not sure. Unless they moved they were extremely hard to see.

Marshy-pond in National Park in Washington, DC

That was my guess as well, but didn't take the time to compare to other species so didn't want to suggest it.

I think I might be getting warmer with: Northern Green Frog Lithobates clamitans melanota - at least the pictures of these on the VA herp page also have the dorsolateral folds and the disc behind the eye...Thanks for suggesting their website, too.
