Description:

A stocky, small heron who likes to be alone, the adult Green Heron has a green-blue back, reddish neck and light chest with bright yellow-orange legs.

Habitat:

Live in small, freshwater wetlands, ponds and swamp areas.

I just realized you have the right scientific name but I think you have inadvertently given the incorrect common name!
