Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized bird with a dark gray body withbbrown on top of the head. Not sure of the color of the tail

Habitat:

woods, gardens, not sure were else.

darwinist is correct. we have a pair nesting in the shrub by our bedroom window. i'll be honest - it gets annoying!

I am pretty sure that is a gray catbird. I used to see them in the summer when I lived in Maine. They are called catbirds because they sound like a cat meowing. :)
