Field Notes

Description:

I am thinking that this may be a "Downy Woodpecker" because the bill is too short for a "Hairy woodpecker". I think the chirp was short and quieter than a Hairy also. If anyone knows for sure, I would appreciate it. Also was not very shy.

Notes:

Spotted this bird at the Kingwood Center in Mansfield, OH.
