Description:

Massive red, gray and white barked Eucalyptus tree. Not native and is invasive. Small yellow inflorescence not shown in this series. Last image shows the third floor deck to help gauge the size of this tree. The video shows these massive trees getting trimmed.

Habitat:

Field in full sun

Notes:

Aka: River Redgum, Red River Gum. The leaves are full of Red Gum Lerp Psyllids http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7224826 and http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7159296. The trees have Eucalyptus Longhorned Borer's http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8194065.

I added a video of these enormous and beautiful trees getting a major trim! You can see how large these trees are as well as see how the trimming is done. They guy even gets knocked off the tree branches a couple times but has ropes attached so he didn't fall down to his death.
