Description:

Spider egg case. Orange, looked almost furry.

Habitat:

Compost bin lid

Notes:

There were at least 4 species of spider in various webs along the inside of the lid - I have no idea which this belonged to!

Maybe... but of the several species of spider hanging out there, I didn't notice any widows.
