With a large pendula inflorescence this is a little fruit into the bract...normally birds eat them..

Great comment Jason You are right I have taste several kinds most of them are not tasty...
Maybe birds can eat them.. But not for me, I had tasted it and that was too fragrant for me :D .. But you can suck the sweet nectar from the flower, especially in H. rostrata..
