Description:

lighter in color than most chipmunks, the Olympic chipmonk is a resident of the alpine meadows, and is able to hide against the light colored soil. Recent incursions of coyotes from lower elevations have made them extremely wary

Notes:

This one watched me for a moment and then ran off. I tried numerous times to get a photo, and this was all I could get
