Description:

Spotted this Harvestman in my veggie garden. The body was about 1/4-inch and the leg span was about 1 inch. Opiliones (formerly Phalangida) are an order of arachnids commonly known as harvestmen.

Habitat:

Urban veggie garden.

The name "daddy long legs" is used to describe several very different creatures. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daddy_longlegs) This is just the one I knew growing up. I only recently learned about them. I think harvestmen are my favorite arachnid now though. Glad to help. =)
@SheilaHitchcockTomasino--I also thought it was the Pholcidae daddy long legs, but as you said the body looked wrong. technically not a spider, but another order of arachnid. They're quite fascinating creatures I think.
