Field Notes

Description:

While my family was out of town for the weekend we stopped among the many nature trails that we passed by in western Virginia. Among these were a state park located near the Staunton River. As we were walking along one of the grass trails, we came across many wildflowers. I chose to take a picture of a forget-me-not because it is a very common flower that most people know of.

Habitat:

Forget-Me-Nots are most commonly found in wetlands, usually on riverbanks or moist areas.
