Description:

Blister beetle on a Canna Lily flower. Apparently they are florivorous.

Habitat:

Flower garden in Rural village. Semi-arid desert.

It's a Blister Beetle. I found a website which shows a stamp from Botswana with this Blister Beetle on it. The website lists it as Mylabris polymorphus, but I have not been able to confirm. Middle stamp, third row. http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~ch2m-nitu/tutihane.htm
Beautiful! Love the orange antennae.
