Description:

A species of Leaf Beetle, i think. Yellow and black beetle, about 3/4 - 1 inch long, on a flower (would like to ID the flower too) in central Florida.

Alike Scarlet Lily beetle in Criocerinae.
Thanks for verifying that for me. I've been looking at leaf beetle pictures all night trying to narrow it down. Now that i know there are about 35,000 species, I will probably stop :)
