Description:

hooded green plant with transparent "windows" at the top that confuse flying insects. A carnivorous plant.

Habitat:

Peat bog.

Notes:

This was in the Darlingtonia Botanical Wayside operated by Oregon State Parks, just north of Florence, an easy way to observe this unusual plant.
