I am really interested in finding this ID. I found it on an "MOTHER-OF-MILLIONS" A very bad weed here.. it looked like it was feeding on it and if it does I would love to know its Name,,

Thanks martinI It looks like the same species. I have not seen the adult on here yet!
Christine, I've just spotted one similar. On the same gumtree was this adult, it is possibly the same species but also proved hard to ID. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8852327 http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8789374
Thanks lori.tas.. I will check it out!
Hi Christine, I agree with Ken that it is a sawfly larva, but less sure on the genus. Possibly a Perga sp. or a Pergagrapta sp. I don't think it's the same as your other spotting. But the larvae go through several moults and that changes their appearance each time. For more info, check out: http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_wasps/Sawflies.htm
So it is the same as this one...http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7316144? Do you know if they would feed on Mother-of-Millions???
Hi Christiane That's a sawfly larva - probably in the genus Perga. Cheers Ken
I took it to Department of Environment and Resource Management.. Hopefully they find some ID!
It would be nice to find something that eats that Kalanchoe. It's so weird looking....like a cross between a beetle larvae & a skipper butterfly.
I checked out the Inchworm.... aka... Geometridae moth caterpillar. I don't think this is one?!? It is not moving like an Inchworm!
Hi AshishNimkar.. Do you know what they are normally feeding on?
Its a Inchworm.... aka... Geometridae moth caterpillar...!!
