That's definitely it! Thanks for the id, its been almost two years since i caught this fish, always wondered what it was.
Pretty sure that is a Log Perch Darter (Percina Caprodes). Those are fairly rare to catch on hook and line. Nice catch!
That is a weird looking fish - its almost a hybrid between perch, pike and walleye :D
That or a northern pike. Hard to tell without seeing the face.
