A very small bee, as you can see. there are several varieties
Habitat:
Sweat bees are particularly numerous in North America. Although their size makes them relatively inconspicuous, hundreds may swarm over flowers in gardens and meadows. They build their nest in the ground, but some nest in wood.
Notes:
They are attracted to the salt in human sweat. They sting only when handles, and their sting is pretty much painless. If you look closely at the photo above, you can see a lot of pollen on it's legs, It's a very busy bee.
