Field Notes

Description:

Banded light brown orange and black across the back and dark brown, black and white on sides. About 10 in long and very angry.

Habitat:

Under retaining wall blocks near a playground.

Notes:

Cool morning so even though the lizard was angry it wasn't moving fast because of the low temp.
First one taken in San Ramon
The rest of the photos were taken in Morgan Territory

yup, there it is .attacking the keys. Mighty Monster.
Jemma I added the Alligator lizard biting my key. It's suspended not on the ground
I'm pretty good at picking them up. If I sense they may be angry then I will leave them.
it is biting on to a shoe in the third pic!Looks very angry indeed! Must be a great feeling to pick a lizard up.
