Description:

It is a local variety of cow called "Vaca avileña negra ibérica". Apparently comes from the african Bos braquiceros.
It produce very good meat.

Habitat:

It is usually found in central Spain, mainly in mountainous areas around Avila.
This picture was taken at Purrto de la Fuenfría, Madrid at 1800 m over the sea level.
