Description:

Mushroom found while hiking in a forested area outside of Talinn, Estonia.

Habitat:

Widespread. Hardwood trees.

Can't be sure if it's on an oak tree though! The bark looks right, but the leaves I can see look odd.

Could definitely be Dryad's Saddle. That's one monstrous fungus.

It is shocking. I look at local mushrooms so differently now. I was told the name, but do I remember? Of course not. But, I'm looking...
WOW! that is mother of all fungus!! what a fabulous find :)
Thanks! It grew back the next year. I am hoping to post pictures from that year as well. The size of the mushrooms in that area is just amazing!!
