Field Notes

Description:

Very small, just over an inch tall. Fairly nearby (2nd pic) were some similar-looking larger ones, more extended 'branches' or 'teeth,' dull tan-grey in color, not sure if they are more mature members of the same species or different species entirely. A few of these larger ones were growing directly from rotting, fallen wood.

Habitat:

very moist woods, near mud and water

Species ID Suggestions

Ramaria sp.
