Field Notes

Description:

My good friend Andrew Monson and I went birding on our Labor day weekend (Yes, I am single...). We spotted these ducks, but could not positively ID them. I know the photo quality is not perfect...far from it. One mark that I noticed was a vertical white stripe BEHIND the eye. If any birders can shed some light, we'd appreciate it. These ducks have us stumped. We suspect Teals?

Species ID Suggestions
