Field Notes

Notes:

Because of the constant rain here in late August, early September, of PA, we have had our ground overpowered with MUSHROOMS! I went on a hunt and brought my camera!!

this is not clitocybe nuda- those faint, brown rings I see on each stem come from spores falling and sticking to webbing. Brown spores and webbing are clear signs that this is a member of cortinarius sp. which contains many toxic species, so please change the photo label to avoid misinforming people
I believe you are right. Thank you very much!
This is more likely to be a Wood Blewit, Clitocybe nuda since you found it in Pennsylvania. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clitocybe_nuda
