Habitat:

Wooded wetland, rain and spring-fed pond. Staten Island New York.

Notes:

This woodland was preserved as part of New York City's Bluebelt program, providing natural stormwater drainage for much of Staten Island, saving the city money, saving habitat and giving us some beauty.
