Field Notes

Description:

It merges marvellously with the wood veneer...initially I had thought it has washed out colours. Now I realize it is good camouflage. It sat with its head downwards (i have rotated the second photo for better viewing)

Habitat:

Neora Valley Jungle Camp. About 3 hours drive from the nearest town of Siliguri. Remote hilly forested area. Himalayan foothills. A bit of a moth paradise.
