Common Kingfisher //
The kingfisher position in the Netherlands is in strong growth. SOVON Bird Research estimates the number of breeding pairs this year to around 250. Last year there were about 165.

Thank you Textless.. the common Kingfisher is probably one of the most beautiful birds of The Netherlands, in my opinion.. ;)
I'm very happy with this spotting.. They are quite rare in The Netherlands.
